Sammy Hagar On Another ‘Sam And Dave’ Reunion Tour

It seems Sammy Hagar is up for anything Van Halen related, even if Eddie, Alex, and Wolfgang aren’t involved. Like hitting the road again with former frontman David Lee Roth and ex-bassist Michael Anthony.

Posting a throwback photo to Instagram, a fan commented with a question for the singer, asking, “Hey Sammy! Would you be up for a ‘Sam and Dave tour’ 2? Bring Mike to play bass and that’ll show the Van Halen brothers who’s boss!!”

Maybe Whitesnake could play a part in this fictitious tour, with Hagar replying, “Sam & Dave Coverdale coming up”.

Roth is a bit busy next year, though, opening for KISS on the upcoming US leg of their farewell tour plus his own Las Vegas residency dates.

Hagar said later he didn’t enjoy the original run. What were your thoughts on seeing the two frontmen playing VH songs live?
