The UK’s legendary Glastonbury Festival will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year, but don’t expect Queen to be appearing onstage.

Guitarist Brian May recently shot down rumors that Queen was booked to headline the anniversary show – and says it’s a personal grudge against Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis.

May says the 84-year-old Eavis has “frequently insulted” May over the guitarist’s wildlife preservation efforts, including campaigns against fox hunting and badger culling.

May calls Eavis a “danger to farming” and says Queen will never play Glastonbury unless “things changed radically”.
