Beatles’ Handwritten ‘Hey, Jude” Lyrics Sell for Nearly $1M

Paul McCartney’s handwritten lyrics for The Beatles 1968 classic “Hey, Jude” were sold at an auction Friday and sold for $910,000.
The lyrics were only expected to fetch between $160,000 and $180,000, according to Jullien’s Auctions.
The lyrics were used by the band when the song was recorded at Trident Studios in London.
