WHO Head Warns Worst of Virus is Still Ahead

As the U.S. prepares to ease restrictive measures, the WHO director-general is warning that it’s way too soon.

The head of WHO says the worst of the virus is still ahead of us. However, he didn’t specify exactly why he believed it could get worse.

He told reporters, It has a very dangerous combination and this is happening … like the 1918 flu that killed up to 100 million people. But now we have technology, we can prevent that disaster, we can prevent that kind of crisis. Trust us. The worst is yet ahead of us. Let’s prevent this tragedy. It’s a virus that many people still don’t understand.

Do you think the U.S. is reopening too soon?
