Roger Daltrey believed the newest Who album is some of their best work – until four bonus tracks were added to the record.

The new album, titled Who, includes four demo recordings as bonus content. But Daltrey thinks the demos take away from the overall effect, telling Billboard “it just makes a perfect album imperfect”.

Daltrey called it “an absolute joke” to include demos on a “finished record” and says he’s “quite angry about it to be honest”. But otherwise, he believes Who is the band’s best album since Quadrophenia.

Who was released last month. The band will launch a short U.S. tour in April of 2020, followed by a six-night Las Vegas residency in May.

Should Daltrey be this upset about the bonus tracks? Do you enjoy digging into demos and b-sides of your favorite bands?
