Bruce Springsteen announced that his new documentary, “Letter To You” will debut on Apple TV+ on October 23rd, the same day as the album of the same name will be released.

Over five days, Springsteen and his E Street Band allowed cameras to follow them as they recorded, arranged, and learned the songs for “Letter To You” in Springsteen’s Colts Neck, New Jersey studio.

The celebration of a pending tour that would later be canceled due to a pandemic, shows the promise that the decade-long friendships between Springsteen and his band have and excited they were to get back on the road.

According to guitarist Steve Van Zandt, the album was done in four days, and on the fifth day, they just listened back to the album. “Letter To You” includes spoken word from Springsteen and the documentary is the latest in Thom Zimny’s collection of Springsteen exclusive content.
