Bon Jovi Tackles Current Events On “American Reckoning”

A new song from Bon Jovi takes a hard look at the death of George Floyd and protests that rocked the country in recent weeks.
The lyrics to “American Reckoning” mention “protests in the streets” and “I can’t breathe”. Frontman Jon Bon Jovi sayd he was moved to write the song “as a witness to history”.
100% of proceeds from “American Reckoning” will go to the Equal Justice Initiative. The song will appear on the band’s upcoming album Bon Jovi: 2020 when it comes out later this year.
