Ziggy Stardust Re-Release Coming In June

David Bowie‘s Ziggy Stardust is being re-released in celebration of the album’s 50th anniversary.

Bowie’s estate says two 50th anniversary vinyl versions of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars will be out on June 17th.

The record will be issued as a limited edition 50th anniversary half speed mastered LP and a picture disc, featuring the same master and a replica promotional poster for the album.

The record was originally released on June 16, 1972 in the U.K.
