YouTube to pull “extreme” videos

YouTube says it will pull thousands of videos and channels espousing extreme views.
The social media platform announced the plan Wednesday targeting bigoted ideologies, the New York Times reports.
Gone will be “videos alleging that a group is superior in order to justify discrimination, segregation or exclusion,” a company blog post read.
Content denying specific true and violent acts such as the Sandy Hook shooting will also be removed.
What do you think of the plan? Is viewer gullibility the broader issue? Why do you think people fall for such nonsense?
