‘Very Likely’ Surviving Soundgarden Members Will Perform Together

Soundgarden can never be the same without late frontman Chris Cornell – but that won’t stop the surviving members from sharing a stage again.
In a recent interview, guitarist Kim Thayil said it was “very likely that Matt (Cameron) and Ben (Shepherd) and I will play together” – and would want to perform Soundgarden songs.
The band did perform together last August, joining singer Brandi Carlile onstage for a mini-set that included “Black Hole Sun” and “Searching With My Good Eye Closed”.
What would you think of a Soundgarden reunion tour with a new singer? What if they recruited several different singers to replace Cornell?
