Unreleased David Bowie Demo Auctions For $19,200

A rare, unreleased demo recording from David Bowie was auctioned off for nearly twenty grand this week.
The seven-inch vinyl pressing contains a 1965 recording of “I Want Your Love” by Davy Jones and the Lower Third – before the singer had changed his name to David Bowie.
The disc sold for £14,448 – roughly $19,200 – to a UK collector who outbid more than 300 people.
