Uber Will Give Drivers And Customers Free Clorox Wipes

If you’ve been squeamish about ridesharing since the pandemic began you will soon have one thing less thing to worry about.

Starting Monday, Uber will provide all US drivers with a stash of Clorox wipes in an effort to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.

Customers will receive a notification in the app that the disinfectant product is available, which can be used to wipe down everything from seat belt buckles to window controllers and door handles.

In addition, the company’s policy of mandatory masks for both riders and drivers will remain in effect.
