Try Not To Cry Watching A Mama Chimpanzee Reunite With Her Newborn

One of the sweetest videos you’ll see this week is of a mama chimpanzee being reunited with her baby boy. Mama gave birth via emergency C-section at Sedgwick County Zoo in Kansas. Veterinarians determined natural labor had stopped progressing so they wanted to get the baby out.  He had to get treatment for a few days at the zoo’s hospital, but that meant mama couldn’t see him. 

At first she’s looking a little unsure at the blanket in her pen until she sees his little arm reach out and she instantly scoops him up and kisses his head.
