‘Top Gun’, ‘Mission: Impossible’ Movies Delayed To 2022

Tom Cruise fans are going to have to wait a bit longer for their box office fix.
Two different Cruise-starring movies – Top Gun: Maverick and Mission: Impossible 7 – have been bumped to next year by Paramount Pictures.
Top Gun was moved from Thanksgiving weekend to Memorial Day 2022, while Mission: Impossible will premiere Sept. 30th, 2022.
In fact, Paramount has delayed the rest of its slate as well and won’t release any more movies to theaters in 2021.
