Nick and Viktoria’s story started when they met on the dance floor in San Francisco. She was just visiting and didn’t think she’d see him again when he asked for her number. When he found out she’s based in Illinois…he revealed he’s from there and had a plane ticket to be there in two weeks!

They started a long-distance romance until she got severely ill with Stevens-Johnson syndrome, which was a severe allergic reaction to medication. Doctors told her family they weren’t sure she’d make it. Nick rushed by her side…she spent 240 days in the hospital, was put in a medically induced coma, and he proposed when she woke up.
