The Flaming Lips Performed Inside COVID-Safe Bubbles

What’s a way to get around possibly catching coronavirus but still having a chance to rock out? How about performing in a COVID-safe bubble?

That’s exactly what The Flaming Lips did last night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The band didn’t try to be like others and maneuver different screens, oh no, they performed “Race For The Prize” in their own individual bubbles for an audience that also was in their own COVID-safe bubbles.
