Supreme Court Rules that White House Can’t End DACA

The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that the White House administration can not end the Obama-era immigration program called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA.

DACA prevents some young immigrant children from deportation and allows them to obtain work permits.

The White House argued that Obama didn’t have the authority to implement DACA.  NBC News reports that the White House’s argument against DACA didn’t hold up in state courts like New York or California.

In a Politico poll, over 75% of registered voters in the United States were in favor of the young immigrants, or “Dreamers” being protected under DACA.

Do you support DACA?  Is the process to become a U.S. citizen unnecessarily complicated, regardless of someone’s age?
