Super Bowl LVI Could Be The Hottest On Record

One thing you rarely have to worry about with the Super Bowl is the weather being too hot – but Sunday’s big game could be the hottest on record.

Forecasters are calling for temps of up to 87 degrees in Los Angeles on Sunday – enough for the National Weather Service to issue an excessive heat warning.

While SoFi Stadium is a dome, it can get hot underneath the stadium’s translucent roof – at least before the sun sets at halftime.

The hottest Super Bowl on record?  84 degrees for Super Bowl VII – which was played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Will the warm weather be a factor in the game?
