Stone Temple Pilots Bassist Robert DeLeo Is Almost Done Recording Debut Solo Album

Stone Temple Pilots bassist Robert DeLeo says he’s almost finished recording his debut solo album.

On Instagram a couple of weeks ago, DeLeo posted a teaser for a song called “Anew” on the record with singer Kara Britz (a backup singer on NBC’s “The Voice”).

He noted he has 10 songs done, with 2 more to go.

Over the weekend in a new post, DeLeo said he’s been doing all of the guitar work for his solo album and it’s “been really enjoyable getting back in touch with my playing.”
