Stephen said about seeing Bruce perform and participating in the crowd surfing, “I very nearly broke his neck. I forget that I’m six foot seven.”

He continued, “And the person behind me is like regular height. And they can’t reach him. And there is a moment of time that I am taking the full weight of Bruce Springsteen.”

He added, “And I had a vision of my grandmother saying ‘you shouldn’t hold rockstars’. ‘You don’t have the upper body strength.'”
