Soundgarden Members Want To Finish Band’s Final Album
July 24, 2019 2:35PM EDT
The surviving members of Soundgarden say they’d like to complete the unfinished recordings left behind by late frontman Chris Cornell.
Guitarist Kim Thayil says they’ve tried for two years to get a hold of demo recordings Cornell was working on before his death in 2017, but to no avail.
Thayil says if the band was given those recordings, they could overdub their parts and finish the final Soundgarden album. But so far, their efforts have stalled out due to “confusion amongst various parties”.
Would you like to hear a final Soundgarden album? Which deceased rocker do you miss the most?
