Fans are now used to waiting for a new Guns N’ Roses album. After all, Chinese Democracy took years to see the light of day. But this time, the issues aren’t over creative differences.

While new music from the reunited rockers has been hinted at, when we’ll hear it is a different story.

Speaking to Guitar.com, Slash provided a very vague update, admitting, “There’s been no definitive answer on anything, and I’ll just keep to that. Stuff is happening, but there are no specifics.”

The top-hat wearing legend blames the “nature of the industry,” for being tight-lipped, adding, “I mean, there’s material and there’s recording and there’s s**t going on, but we’re not really sure what we’re doing with it right now.”

What do you think is to blame? How would you expect a new GN’R record to sound?
