Tony Lewis, lead singer of The Outfield, has died at the age of 62.

According to his publicist, Lewis died “suddenly and unexpectedly” in London, where he made his home. A cause of death was not given.

Lewis is best remembered for the 1986 hit “Your Love”. He remained active in the music scene, releasing a solo acoustic EP back in May.

The news was shared on Lewis’ official social media accounts, describing him as “a beautiful soul who touched so many lives with his love, spirit, and music”.
