Rihanna Performs At A Pre-Wedding Party For Billionaire’s Son

Rihanna hasn’t done a major show since her Super Bowl Halftime show in 2022, and the first gig she takes is a pre-wedding bash in India. Not the typical kind of stage you’d expect for a performer of her caliber, but a billionaire was throwing the party for his son.

Mukesh Ambani‘s son is tying the knot in India and to celebrate, he threw a huge party with Rihanna as entertainment. Footage started popping up on social media showing her performing hits like “Stay,” “Umbrella,” and “Consideration.” At the end of the show, the Ambani family joined Rihanna on stage for photos and hugs. Her paycheck for the gig has not been revealed, but the Daily Mail estimated a starting price around $6 million. Now, some are calling her out saying the performance was “lazy” and “boring”, but it really matters what the Ambanis thought.

Ambani has a net worth around $110 billion from his oil, gas, and telecom interests.  It’s the not the first time this Daddy Warbucks spent a lot for big entertainment: he dropped $100 million on his daughter’s wedding in 2018 with Beyonce as the performer!
