Previously Unreleased Tom Petty Song Seems Made For 2020

Leave it to Tom Petty to write the perfect song for 2020 – even if he wrote it 26 years ago.

A previously unreleased Petty called “Confusion Wheel” was just released by his estate ahead of the upcoming Wildflowers & All The Rest box set.

Even though it was written in 1994, “Confusion Wheel” seems tailor-made for the current moment, with lyrics like “So much confusion has made me afraid… and I don’t know who to trust…”

It’s one of ten “new” songs that will be part of the box set, due out Oct. 16th.
