Pollstar Awards Laud Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Garth Brooks and Others as Touring Artists of the Decade

The Pollstar Awards were held on Wednesday evening (June 16th) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

Due to COVID restrictions, there were no concert tours in 2020 so Pollstar pivoted by awarded artists by honoring touring artists of the decade instead of the year.

Beyonce won top touring artists of the decade. Her award was accepted by CAA’s head of music, Rob Light. In a speech prepared by Queen B, she thanked her “ride or die” husband, JAY-Z as well as her dedicated fans.

Other winners of the evening were Lady Gaga, who won Pop touring artist of the decade, Bruno Mars won Hip-Hop/R&B touring artist of the decade, Jennifer Lopez won Latin touring artist of the decade, Kevin Hart was named comedy touring artist of the decade and Cirque du Soleil got the honor of being the non-music tour of the decade.

Jon Bon Jovi won Rock touring artist of the decade and sent in a video acceptance speech from his kitchen, who begged promoters to “get me out of the house.” Garth Brooks won for Country touring artists of the decade and thanked his band and crew, who tirelessly worked on his behalf.

Which artist would you consider as the touring artist of the decade?
