Phil Collins Is ‘Definitely Retired’, Son Nic Says

Genesis wrapped up the ‘The Last Domino?’ farewell tour last month – and it sounds like it truly was the final bow for Phil Collins.

His son Nic – who played drums on the tour – told Rolling Stone “He’s definitely retired.  If you ask me on a serious level, I think that show in London was my dad’s last show“.

Collins has been struggling with health issues for several years, and Nic says his father “is probably excited about the next step in his life.  Music has given him so much, but he’s also given so much to it.”

Nic, meanwhile, is moving forward with his own band, Better Strangers – who just released the new single “But I Don’t Know Your Name”.
