Pearl Jams Demands Justice For Breonna Taylor

Pearl Jam has never been shy about speaking out politically. Now the band is demanding justice for Breonna Taylor in an open letter from guitarist Mike McCready.
McCready writes “The charging of Breonna Taylor is egregious and lacking in justice.” He says the charge “does not value her life and continues to validate the broken system”.
While McCready says he does not agree with violent protest, he feels that “deciding what is an appropriate way for communities of color to react is not my place, or the place of any other white person”.
