Paul McCartney Declares the Beatles Are Better Than Rolling Stones but Says They ‘Admire Each Other’

Paul McCartney agreed with Howard Stern that the Beatles are a better group than the Rolling Stones.

“You know you’re going to persuade me to agree with that one,” McCartney said. The Beatles bassist went on to praise the Stones frontman, Mick Jagger for his “showmanship,” but says the Beatles had more innovation and were influenced by a wide array of various art.

“Keith once said to me, ‘You’re lucky, man, you have four singers in your band. We only have one,’” the Stone’s drummer, Keith Richards once told McCartney.
