Ozzy Osbourne: ‘I’m Done’ Playing with Black Sabbath

There’s bad news for Black Sabbath fans who are holding out for another reunion: Former frontman Ozzy Osbourne says it isn’t going to happen.

Asked by Rolling Stone whether he hopes to get back together with former bandmates Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler, Osbourne replied, “Not for me. I’m done. I don’t have any of the slightest interest.”

Osbourne’s comments comes more than three years after he re-teamed with his former bandmates for a 2017 farewell show. He later said he was open to playing “one last gig” with the group.

Does Ozzy have more fans as a solo artist than Black Sabbath does? Why is he still so closely associated with Black Sabbath even though the group later found success with Ronnie James Dio?
