One-Of-A-Kind Bob Dylan Recording Auctions For $1.7 Million

A one-of-a-kind recording of one of Bob Dylan’s signature hits just sold for $1.7 million.
It’s a re-recording of “Blowin’ In The Wind”, released on a brand new type of disc called ‘Ionic Original’ – an ‘ultra-high-fidelity’ format pioneered by legendary music producer T-Bone Burnett.
The recording will not be released in any other format, so the buyer will be the only one who gets to hear it. It was auctioned for $1.7 million at Christie’s auction house in London to an unnamed bidder.
