Nikki Sixx Admits Motley Crue Was ‘Probably’ A Sexist Band

Nikki Sixx admits that Motley Crue’s image likely wouldn’t fly these days.
In an interview with Classic Rock magazine, Sixx says Crue was “most probably” a sexist band when compared to “today’s environment”.
Sixx says the 70’s and 80’s were a different time: “when I grew up, it was just the messaging that came through, and you were emulating your heroes”.
Sixx is promoting his new book The First 21: How I Became Nikki Sixx.
