NASCAR is essentially operating under a caution flag as it and other major sports leagues emerge from coronavirus shutdowns.

The racing league Wednesday announced procedures for the next five races at Bristol, Atlanta, Martinsville, Homestead-Miami and Talladega.

Starting lineups will be based on owner points and random drawings in four position groups, 1-12, 13-24, 25-36 and 37-40.

Practice will only be held at Talladega, June 20, 11:35-12:25 p.m.

Are you hoping for fan attended races soon? Does condensed racing benefit or hurt drivers?
