Country music star, Naomi Judd, passed away on Saturday at age 76.

Her daughters, Wynonna and Ashley, announced it in a statement that said they lost her to “the disease of mental illness.”

The Judds were set to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame yesterday, which did still happen after the family said that’s what they wanted.

Just a few weeks ago, in what would be their final public performance, The Judds, Naomi and Wynonna, appeared on the CMT Music Awards. They were backed by a gospel choir and sang their hit “Love Can Build A Bridge.” It was their first performance on an awards show in more than 20 years.
