Motley Cruë’s First Five Albums Getting Digipack Remasters

Want to catch up on the Motley Cruë catalog ahead of their upcoming Stadium Tour?  You’ll get the chance this summer.

BMG is set to release no-frills CD remasters of each of the band’s first five albums: 1981’s Too Fast For Love, 1983’s Shout At The Devil, 1985’s Theatre Of Pain, 1987’s Girls, Girls, Girls, and 1989’s Dr. Feelgood.

It’s part of the $150 million deal Cruë signed with BMG to acquire their song catalog last year.

Cruë’s long-awaited ‘Stadium Tour’ reunion with Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett kicks off next month in Atlanta.

What are your favorite Cruë albums – the early records, or their peak popularity in the late 80’s?
