MLB Announces Plan to Treat Minor Leaguers Like People

Minor League players are finally starting to get a little respect.

After getting buried in criticism, Major League Baseball officials have stepped up to the plate and decided to give each Minor League player his own bed with no more than two players per room, the league revealed on Friday.

The new rule also requires team housing to be “located at a reasonable, commutable distance from the ballpark,” according to the baseball commissioner’s office.

Does this mean ticket prices for minor league games are going to go up?
