Miles Davis Lost Septet Live Album to Be Released

The Miles Davis live album The Lost Septet will be released for the first time.

Before this planned release the 1971 live album had only been broadcast on the radio in Europe.

The double album was completed at a time when Davis’ music had more of a rock tinge, and according to band member and saxophonist Gary Bartz, the band was “as intense as any rock band and just as loud.”

Did you know that Miles Davis dabbled in rock music?
