Mick Jagger says The Rolling Stones will Never Do This

You may ask every time The Rolling Stones release new music or announce a world tour “when is this band ever going to retire?” Well, front man Mick Jagger has your answer: never.

The 77-year-old told Rolling Stone magazine that he “can’t really imagine doing anything else. You might call it a habit. I mean, that’s what we do.”

There’s a sort of competition between Rolling Stones members when it comes to retirement, too, with Jagger adding “There’s that thing between us, like, ‘who’s going to be the first one to get off the bus?’ You have to be kicked off or drop off, right? So, it’s like that.”

The Rolling Stones have worked as a band for 58 years. Do you plan to keep working at Mick Jagger’s age of 77?
