McDonald’s in La Grange is raising funds for Louisville Metro Police Foundation in honor of Officer Nickolas Wilt

Officer Wilt, who is from La Grange, is a 26-year-old rookie Louisville police officer. He served as both a firefighter and a dispatcher in Oldham County before joining the Louisville Metro Police Department earlier this month. He was shot while responding to a mass shooting on April 10 at a downtown Louisville bank. He remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

Donations are also being accepted online at SaferLouisville.org or on the organization’s Facebook page.
