Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones and Radiohead are just a few of the 1,500 artists who have signed a letter urging the U.K.’s Culture Secretary to help save the live music industry.

The letter, which was also signed by Rod Stewart and Eric Clapton, is asking the Culture Secretary to come up with a timeline to reopen venues without social distancing.  The artists are also asking for a business and employment support package to help the over 210,000 people who work in the live music industry, according to The Daily Mail.

Artists, promoters and vendors are also using the hashtag #LetTheMusicPlay to share photos and videos from their last live gigs to raise awareness about the troubled industry.
