Louisville Teacher Goes Viral Nationally After Carrying Student w/ Spina Bifida
And I’m crying again (blame the pregnancy hormones).
Earlier this week, a JCPS teacher was all over Louisville news after making the choice to go above and beyond for one little 10 year old girl to be able to take part in a class field trip just like everyone else.
Ryan has Spina Bifida and couldn’t go to the Falls of the Ohio due to lack of wheelchair access, so the teacher used a backpack carrier to take her around the entire day.
And now it’s national news, both the teacher and little Ryan.
“We’ve never really talked. I didn’t know his first name before he offered to do this… It melted my heart.” ❤️ https://t.co/vooOXNRpU0
