Liam Gallagher to Release Live Album

Despite the pandemic, Liam Gallagher found a way to record a live album while practicing social distancing.

Gallagher is teasing the release of “Down By the River Thames,” which was performed via live stream and for those watching on the shore of the River Thames.

Gallagher shared a video trailer of the event on Instagram, showing him performing while traveling down the river.

“As we were in lockdown, bored and depressed, rock ‘n’ roll came to save the day once again,” Gallagher wrote in his caption. “It was a top night and a top gig and it’s captured here on record for you to all enjoy.”

“Down By the River Thames” is out on May 27 and can be pre-ordered through Gallagher’s website.
