Liam Gallagher To Receive Inaugural ‘Rock Icon’ Award At 2019 MTV EMAs

This weekend, the 2019 MTV Europe Music Awards kicks off in Seville, Spain with Liam Gallagher to receive an extra special honor during the show.

In addition to his Best Rock nomination, the former Oasis frontman will be presented with the inaugural “Rock Icon” award on Sunday.

Gallagher is expected to play as well, performing an Oasis track and something new from his latest solo effort, Why Me? Why Not.

Also taking the stage at the annual event will be Dua Lipa, Sofia Reyes and Pabllo Vittar.
