Kentucky Governor Apologizes to Tupac Shakur
Well this is awkward! During a press conference this week, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear called out “prankstars” for filing for unemployment in Kentucky. He specifically called out a man saying his name was Tupac Shakur saying it was fraud.
Turns out, his name really IS Tupac Shakur.
The governor of Kentucky apologized for saying someone named Tupac Shakur, who had applied for unemployment in the state, was an example of fraud — when it was actually the person’s real name https://t.co/kXfqZQLAdv

The Governor PERSONALLY called this man to apologize after a clear misunderstanding for a man who just needed his check.
Beshear incorrectly assumed that the claim filed by a Lexington cook with the same name as the rapper was a prank. https://t.co/BpqWyXopCR
