Katy Perry Is Living In Kentucky And Learning “Hollywood Is Not America”

Katy Perry has made Kentucky her home base for the last month and it’s been an eye-opening experience.

During a recent interview, she admitted  “that’s quite an amazing experience, because it reminds you that Hollywood is not America.”

“Yeah, I mean, they’re living in a bubble of sorts,” Perry said. “We’re living in a bubble. Our bubbles are completely opposite. But they’re — it’s interesting.”

Perry’s fiance Orlando Bloom has been shooting a movie in Henry County since April. The movie is called “Red Right Hand” and has been filming in New Castle and Campbellsburg.

She is prepping for the finale of this season of ‘American Idol’ and her Las Vegas residency.
