The success of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” continues!

The 1985 song has reportedly earned Bush millions of dollars thanks to streaming after a sync in Netflix’s Stranger Things.

According to music sales tracker Luminate, the song has earned $2.3 million in streaming revenue.

Bush, who owns the recording, is likely bringing in about 80% of those earnings.

“Running Up That Hill” has spent three weeks in the top spot on the U.K. Singles chart.

Additionally, thanks to Stranger Things, Metallica’s “Master Of Puppets” has started to see a spike up, as well.

Do you think this renewed interest in “Running Up That Hill” is well deserved? What other song from the ’80s should get a popularity boost?
