Joe Rogan has finally responded to last week’s controversy involving Neil Young, Spotify, and his podcast.

In a 10-minute video posted to Instagram, Rogan defended his podcast and choice of guests, but admitted he “could do better” in having “more experts with differing opinions right after I have the controversial ones“.

He also addressed Young’s decision to pull his music from Spotify, saying “I most certainly don’t want that.  I’m a Neil Young fan.  I’ve always been a Neil Young fan.

Rogan also thanked Spotify for “being so supportive” and said he agreed with their decision to add a disclaimer to all podcasts that discuss COVID-19 and vaccines.

Will this put the Spotify debate to bed, or are we just getting started?  Will more artists pull their music?
