“Jeopardy!” Champ Credits Streak To Gambling Skills

While many of us might think deep knowledge in many subjects would play a big role in Jeopardy! successes, that’s not how the current champion sees it.

Speaking to a Las Vegas crowd on Thursday, James Holzhauer credited his 31 game winning streak to his professional gambling skills.

“It’s a tournament, and you only see the money you actually win,” said Holzhauer as he explained his strategy.

The 34-year-old has so far earned $2.3 million on the game show, becoming only the second person in its history to top the $2 million mark.
