JCPS Teacher Carries 10 Year Old Student W/ Spina Bifida So She Doesn’t Miss Field Trip

We are so proud of our city and its’ teachers today with this story of complete compassion.

Ryan is a 10 year old little girl who suffers from Spina Bifida. She had an upcoming trip to the Falls of the Ohio which are not wheelchair friendly. Her mom was going to plan an alternate field trip for her when a a teacher stepped in.

This amazing teacher stepped forward and wore Ryan in a backpack carrier all day so she could have the same field trip experience as her classmates.
