Iron Maiden Release New Song, Epic Video For ‘The Writing On The Wall’

Iron Maiden have released their first new music in six years – along with an epic music video.

After teasing something new all week, the band dropped “The Writing On The Wall” on Thursday, a seven-minute epic with an animated video that features band mascot Eddie as a fireball-throwing samurai.

It remains to be seen what the band meant with its cryptic invitations to ‘Belshazzar’s Feast’ – perhaps that could be the title of a new album?
